Need Drugs?

If you watch those ads on TV which depict the wonders of drugs (you know like the cartoon character with depression who comes alive after taking the latest anti-depressant) then you need to watch the Consumers Union Video: The Drugs I Need!

The chorus with all the side-effects and the ending with all the disclaimers are hilarious. But do realize that the commercials this is poking fun at are actually just as bogus as this ad for Pro-whatever-the-heck-it's-called.

Psychiatrists Openly Admit they have NO Tests and NO Cures

It is difficult for ordinary people to understand how corrupt Psychiatry is. A normal person tends to look at others as being like him or her, so the idea that an entire profession is perfectly willing to make billions of dollars annually based on fraud and is completely open about admitting it, is almost beyond comprehension.

But it happens to be the truth. This video shows psychiatrists at the 2006 American Psychiatric Association convention openly admitting they are complete frauds: Psychiatrists admit no science and no cures.

Alberto Threatens Coast - Florida Company Announces Technology to Stop Hurricanes

The hurricane season for 2006 is already predicted to be very severe and it seems that all our government can do is plan to handle the disaster when it strikes. I haven't heard of any plans to try to stop or reduce the hurricanes, yet with all the technology we have, there must be something we can do.

Well it seems the solution is being researched by a non-profit corporation, on its own with no help (as yet) from the government: Alberto Threatens Coast - Florida Company Announces Technology to Stop Hurricanes.

Wouldn't it save billions of dollars to invest a couple million in research like this?

The Cult Around The Corner

Religious intolerance has been the bane of civilization for centuries. If you have ever seen the Shakespeare play "The Merchant of Venice" or read much literature from the early part of the 20th Century, you will see how hatred and intolerance for Jews festered for centuries and led to the horrors of the holocaust.

So it is a refreshing change to see a book dedicated to religious tolerance: The Cult Around The Corner. This is a common sense handbook on overcoming serious religious differences between individuals and groups. I highly recommend it.
