Drug company's stock crashes on exposure of the danger of their drugs

With the recent news about Celebrex from Pfizer causing heart problems, Iressa from AstraZeneca not making any difference to lung cancer patients, Strattera from Eli Lilly (an "ADHD" drug) causing severe liver injury, and earlier news on the suicidal effects of Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil and all the other SSRI drugs, the stock of major drug companies has crashed. Personally I think the people who allowed these drugs onto the market with insufficient testing (i.e., the scientists who created them, the executives who lied about them and the FDA officials who approved them) should all be thrown in jail and the key dropped down the nearest drain. But for the moment the pain of their suffering stock price will do: Pricey Drug Trials Turn Up Few New Blockbusters.
